ran to buy this upon finding out your shop is vegan friendly. The silk is super soft. I was told the fabric is made out of plants which is so cool! I was hesitant about getting results quick but within about a week I noticed my curls feel so bouncy and healthy.

This is my first time wearing it. It is soft and really comfortable. I love that it can be worn different ways. That was very thoughtful considering everyone has different head shapes. My head is on the bigger side so I had 0 issues with it falling off and did not need any magnet/safety pin as a friend of mine uses for hers. If your head is on the bigger side or you got long hair like me then you won’t need a safety pin. Also you can use a bandana over the headband kind and it doesn’t fall off.

Overall lovely concept but unfortunately not the ideal product for me:
Pros:
– arrived within 2 weeks of ordering
– lovely soft exterior and interior materials
– true colours for black and khaki brown
– cute little storage bag
Cons:
– it’s a hat shape, no where to tuck excess material at the back (unlike tube shape which can be neatly tucked inside to avoid bulky appearance at the back of the head)
– very lose fit, does not remain in place with magnets definitely needs a saftey pin to tighten at nape of neck which then causes ears to hurt due to unnatural give in stretched fabric
– the inner is called silk and for the price I was expecting real silk (my fault) but on reviewing listing i realised it’s vegan which means it’s a synthetic fabric
– due to the inner fabric expect some shuffling sounds throughout the day when worn with silk lining at hair line
– does not stay put and hair peaks out at sides and forehead throughout the day, the design is too wide for an average head size. Not great if you have a busy lifestyle and do not have time to fix your hijab cap/hijab throughout the day
As I dislike wasting things and don’t want to give it to anyone else as I’m not 100% satisfied with them I will be adjusting these at back seam to make it a tighter fit which hopefully will resolve the need to pin it and prevent it from slipping. Also if I’m feeling brave might turn them into tube caps, to resolve the excessive bulk issue at the back.
As mentioned before it’s a lovely concept but personally I feel it needs fine tuning.
